My joy and passion is to create memorable portraits and capture the legacy of your family on film. With a degree in art and design and a natural eye for composition, photography is a talent I have enjoyed for many years. I aspire to capture those special moments that can flee from our memories so they can always be remembered, cherished and shared.

Our Session

Together we design a photo session to take place at your home, a park down the street or any outdoor location of your choice.  My approach is casual.  When we meet, I take time to connect with everyone involved.  We discuss your desired results and I share my experience and expertise. Together, we customize your session.

I use the versatility of two 35mm cameras and take both black and white and color photographs using natural light and a fill flash.  The session lasts one to two hours.  We'll take breaks if we need to.  With my technical knowledge, experience, professional equipment and great attitude, the photo session is fun and memorable.  My style is intimate.  I focus less on settings and backgrounds and more on you.

When I photograph your family, I will take pictures of all of you but will also create portraits of each of you individually and in different combinations with one another.  I'm always open for your input and suggestions while we work together creating photos that are uniquely yours.

Within four weeks of our session together, I will deliver an organized proof book, which is yours to keep, filled with approximately 70 to 100 4x6 black and white and color photographs.  The negatives, neatly organized in archival pages, are also yours to keep.  Since you own the negatives, you may reproduce them independently at your leisure.  I will provide you with support, guidance and referrals.
